Thor Kirchner
Manager and Professional Hunter, owner of Minga Adventures, and co-owner of Munyamadzi Game Reserve since 2009.
Thor was born and raised in Zambia for the first 10 years, then in Denmark. In 2007, Thor returned to Zambia to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a professional big-game hunter. Since then, he has lived in Zambia, guiding hundreds of big-game hunts and photo safaris. His passion for nature and sustainable wildlife conservation has been ingrained in him since childhood.
Since 2009, Munyamadzi has become one of the most successful wildlife and nature areas in Africa. Located in the renowned Luangwa Valley in Zambia, it covers over 20,000 hectares and 20 km of the Luangwa River. The area boasts a thriving population of elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and various antelopes. The main camp is situated along the Luangwa River, offering a stunning view of the Bulonga Mountains. The camp is luxurious with all the amenities one needs, including a refreshing pool to cool off in the heat. In the evenings, you can listen to the roars of lions, the calls of hyenas, and the grunts of hippos.
Frederik Bjørneboe
Chef from Copenhagen, fly fisherman, and hunter. Frederik has worked with both Michelin and campfire cuisine.
In addition, he has worked as a fly fishing guide in Greenland. Frederik loves utilizing the ingredients and resources around us, enjoying creating unique combinations and preparations with what is available. 2023 marks his second season in the bush with Thor.
Mette Karin Petersen
Passionate, experienced hunter, and nature communicator, Mette runs her own marketing agency specializing in the hunting industry. On two occasions, she has been involved in wildlife management and guided hunters in South Africa. Additionally, Mette is a food enthusiast, primarily consuming only the wild game she and her family hunt.

South Luangwa National Park
